Lord, what is it that lies beyond the horizon? Where sky and land meet?
Where sun and moon dance?
Where stars shine and rain falls?
What lies beyond the trees that fill the sky reaching, reaching…?
The eye can only see so far yet my heart burns for what it can not see.
Calling from afar the faint whisper of gold.
Calling, calling to awaken and stir my deepest self.
What lies beyond the horizon I see brushed with orange and pink?
Filling my eyes with hope and wonder.
Swelling my heart with dreams.
As the sun rises and the sky brightens, my heart lifts its nighttime shade to greet this mysterious dawn .
I think not.
My morning friend.
My morning dance.
My morning breath is captured beyond the horizon.
My hand reaches yet can only penetrate the stillness as far as it can reach.
Yet my soul, my soul, Lord can reach eternity.
Beyond the horizon, it waits.
It waits for you.
